Africa Overseas Commercial Exchange (AOCE)


 

 

Ghana Fund in collaboration with the Federated Co-Operative Multi-Purpose Society Ltd is expanding the export of goods from Ghana.

 

The Africa Overseas Commercial Exchange will assist businesses producing goods that have at least 40 percent local content to countries where the AOCE has presence. This is done through the following interventions:

 

  • Assist manufacturers to produce goods to highest possible quality.
  • Provide pre-finance where necessary.
  • Transaction and payment management.
  • Provide export packing assistance.
  • Shipping and forwarding services.
  • Destination services including customs clearance of goods and warehousing.
  • Distribution of goods in export markets through pre-established franchises.

 

On-boarding process:

 

  • Sign-up at https://member.societiesbank.com
  • Update your records
  • Complete the Export Product Form
  • AOCE will visit your facilities for quality assurance, price competitiveness, production volume assurance, packaging, etc.

 

On-boarding may take just a couple of hours or up to a few days depending on the applicant.

 

After successful on-boarding, manufacturer shall proceed as follows:

 

  • Manufacture receives a finance instrument from the AOCE.
  • Produce goods according to the agreed specifications.
  • Goods are packed into containers either on manufacturer’s premises or at the export warehouse.
  • Agent prepares all shipping documents and ships the goods.
  • Feed-back, if any, from franchisees and buyers are made available to the manufacturer privately for improvements.
